Ways to be Healthy in School

Sneak in your cardio-wherever, whenever. Gets your heart pumping everyday by getting off the couch? It isn’t difficult-the places you frequent often offer great opportunities for cardiovascular activities. Take the stairs instead of the mall escalator or exert more effort during your next PE class!
Drink eight or more glasses of water a day. Recent findings have shown that 8 glasses of aqua isn’t the optimum amount-it’s more of a figure that reminds people to stay hydrated. Listen to your body and down some water when you’re thirsty and on a regular basis. You know you’re getting enough water when your pee is a very pale yellow.
Take a siesta. Napping is a great picker-upper after burning the midnight oil! A 20- to 40- minute nap is enough to give you the extra jolt of energy you need to last the day. Schedule your nap any time before 4 pm so you won’t have a hard time hitting the pillows come nighttime.
Build muscle through strength training. A lot of exercises are doable with stuff you already have. Stack up encyclopedias to make a bench for step-ups that’ll target your butt and legs. Strengthen your calves by setting the balls of your feet on a thick book and slowly rising on your toes.
Eat healthy dishes. You can’t always avoid canteen food. Work around it by choosing grilled in lieu of fried or eating yogurt instead of ice cream. It’s all about making the healthier choice!
Take vitamins or food supplements. Not all vital nutrients are can be found in the food we eat. So, as much as possible drink vitamins or food supplements so your body can be equipped with the energy we need for a long day in school.
KEEP SMILING!! This may sound funny but follow this simple rule and you’ll have longer life. Frowning makes less or more than 100 muscles to stretch while smiling take only 15 muscles to achieve
